Revenue & Invoicing Analyst

The Revenue & Invoicing Analyst is part of the Corporate Finance and Strategy group and focus on coordination of healthcare market customer invoice generation between the Finance & Accounting team and the Healthcare operations teams. In addition, the analyst will be responsible for revenue reconciliation activities at high level and healthcare claims level detail, as well as other potential financial analysis projects. 

•Partner with the account management and operations teams to prepare monthly invoicing and/or commission statement tracking.
•Prepare monthly revenue tracking and documentation for Finance & Strategy department.
•Conduct detailed, claim level review of data in support of revenue reconciliation activities.
•Conduct analysis of revenue performance by line of business, account, and service offering .
•Provide data analytic support to enterprise Finance and Accounting in optimizing revenue recognition models.
•Support continuous improvement by identifying and documenting causes of discrepancies and workflow inefficiencies, and report proposed resolutions to management.
•Extracts large data sets from diverse sources and leverages to conduct research and/or develop meaningful reporting, modeling, and analysis.
•Provide support for various audits and special projects as may be required.
•Complete accurately & efficiently any and all tasks as assigned by department management.
•Other duties as may be assigned to meet business needs.

Must be able to meet requirements for and perform work assignments in accordance with Company policies and expectations on a home remote basis (and must meet Performant remote-worker requirements) until at which time staff will be notified and required to work from a Performant office location. Basic office equipment required to perform remote work is provided by the company.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
• Healthcare Insurance Payer and/or Healthcare Claims industry knowledge a plus
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and secure approach in handling of data  
•Professional written and verbal communication skills
•Demonstrates critical thinking, analytical accuracy, and problem-solving skills 
•Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective task management ability
•Ability to manage time and multiple tasks efficiently, while completing work within allocated time frames
•Intermediate experience with MS Office Suite; Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills 
•Good technical aptitude with ability to quickly adapt to new applications and systems
•Ability to effectively perform independently in a professional setting with minimal supervision, and work cooperatively with cross-functional team members to promote a positive team environment.
•Self-motivated and thrives in a fast-paced dynamic business operations environment with ability to adapt quickly to change.
•Ability to consistently perform job responsibilities and follow policy, procedures, and regulations in the workplace.
•Ability to obtain and maintain client required clearances as well as pass company required background and/or drug screening.
•Completion of Teleworker Agreement upon hire, and adherence to the Agreement (and related policies and procedures) including, but not limited to: able to navigate computer and phone systems as a user to work remote independently using on-line resources, must have high-speed internet connectivity, appropriate workspace able to be compliant with HIPAA, safety & ergonomics, confidentiality, and dedicated work focus without distractions during work hours.

Physical Requirements
**NOTE: Must be able to meet requirements for and perform work assignments in accordance with Company policies and expectations on a home remote basis (and must meet Performant remote-worker requirements). Basic office equipment required to perform remote work is provided by the company.
•Job is performed in home-office setting (subject to Company approval and Teleworker Agreement), performs work at a desk or appropriate work surface, uses system and headset provided by the Company for calls, making outbound calls and answering inbound return calls using an office phone system; views a computer monitor, types on a keyboard and uses a mouse.
•Reads and comprehends information in electronic (computer) or paper form (written/printed). 
•Sit/stand 8 or more hours per day; has the option to stand as needed while on calls; reach as needed to use office equipment.
•Consistently viewing a computer screen and types frequently, but not constantly, using a keyboard to update accounts.
•Consistently communicates on the phone as required primarily within the department and company and may include client contacts or other third-party depending on assignment with account holders, may dial manually when need or use dialer system; headset is also provided.
•Occasionally lift/carry/push/pull up to 10lbs.
Education and Experience:
•Bachelor's Degree in related business or industry or equivalent combination of education and experience .
•Minimum 3 years related progressive experience (preferable in healthcare industry) including report development, data analysis, research and problem solving demonstrating capability required for the position.
•Experience with healthcare and Medicare claims and billing a plus.

Other Requirements:
•Must submit to and pass pre-hire background check, as well as additional checks throughout employment.
•Must be able to pass a criminal background check; must not have any felony convictions or specific misdemeanors, nor on state/federal debarment or exclusion lists.
•Must submit to and pass drug screen pre-employment (and throughout employment).
•Performant is a government contractor. Certain client assignments for this position requires submission to and successful outcome of additional background and/or clearances throughout employment with the Company.
