Compensation Analyst (Remote)

Responsibilities:
This is a great opportunity for a multi-faceted highly analytical HR professional that is looking for an opportunity to make an impact in a diverse, fast-paced business environment. Play a significant role in the design, development, and administration of base and variable compensation, equity awards, as well as other components of total rewards. Core responsibilities include, but not limited to:


•Contribute to to the design, development, and implementation of compensation and rewards programs and infrastructure.
•Responsible for administration of compensation programs.
•Collaborate with the HRIS Manager to develop infrastructure in our Workday platform to maximize efficiencies leveraging technology and approach to job codes, job families, leveling, and other components in the management and administration of programs.
•Conduct research and analysis in areas of compensation and rewards.
•Develop and maintain job profiles and applicable leveling/attributes, compensation ranges, program participation, conduct Job evaluations, FLSA review etc.
•Identify and manage appropriate market data resources, participation and utilization
•Conduct compensation studies and contribute to the design and development of infrastructure for base compensation structures 
•Support analysis, design, development and management of variable incentive and equity compensation programs
•Develop or improve policies, guidelines and tools for compensation programs and serve as subject matter expert for development and delivery of communication and training for compensation and rewards programs. 
•Conduct analysis for various initiatives, investigations, and other business needs related to compensation, benefits and other rewards.  
•Collaborate effectively within the HR team as well as with management and key stakeholders across the company to deliver results
•Contribute to knowledge transfer and skill development in Compensation and Rewards to HR team members. 
•Ensures program policy and procedures are adhered to and that programs are on par with industry standards, while aligned with business needs and facilitating desired program outcomes
•Contribute to cross-functional HR initiatives 
•Responsible for maintaining the calendar of applicable Compensation & Rewards programs, initiatives compliance and reporting requirements, etc. and ensure that activities are scheduled and delivered based upon internally developed timelines, legal and contractual requirements, as applicable.  
•Maintain current knowledge on compensation and  laws and regulations, tools, theories, and practical applications. 
•Develop ideas and proposals for continuous improvement of compensation and rewards programs, tools and infrastructure 
•Demonstrate the ability to work in team environment where collaboration and the knowledge transfer process are critical for success.
•Other duties and responsibilities as assigned to meet business needs.

Required Skills and Knowledge:
•Proven body of knowledge in compensation/rewards and benefits principles, best practices, legal and regulatory requirements 
•Understanding of Service Contract Act highly desired
•Demonstrated ability to successfully lead initiatives from research and analysis, planning, costing, designing/developing, implementation, workflow and system set-up, and administration. 
•Strong analytic and process mind-set with insatiable curiosity, and ability to resolve complex issues
•Demonstrated critical and creative thinking
•Technical skills and competency working with various HRIS platforms (Workday experience highly desired)
•Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and strong competency in other MS Office applications (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)

• Ability to obtain and maintain client required clearances as well as pass company regular background and/or drug screening.
• Completion of Teleworker Agreement upon hire, and adherence to the Agreement (and related policies and procedures) including, but not limited to: able to navigate computer and phone systems as a user to work remote independently using on-line resources, must have high-speed internet connectivity, appropriate workspace able to be compliant with HIPAA, safety & ergonomics, confidentiality, and dedicated work focus without distractions during work hours.


Physical Requirements:


**NOTE: Must be able to meet requirements for and perform work assignments in accordance with Company policies and expectations on a home remote basis (and must meet Performant remote-worker requirements).


Basic office equipment required to perform remote work is provided by the company.
• Job is performed in home-office setting subject to Company approval and Teleworker Agreement), uses computer with headset provided by the Company for making outbound calls and answering inbound calls; views a computer monitor, types on a keyboard and uses a mouse.
• Reads and comprehends information in electronic (computer) or paper form (written/printed). 
• Sit/stand 8 or more hours per day; has the option to stand as needed while on calls; reach as needed to use office equipment.
• Consistently viewing a computer screen and types frequently, but not constantly, using a keyboard to update accounts.
• Consistently communicates on the phone as required primarily within the department and company and may include client contacts or other third-party depending on assignment with account holders, may dial manually when need or use dialer system; headset is also provided.
• Occasionally lift/carry/push/pull up to 10lbs.
Education and Experience:
•BA/BS in relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Progressive professional compensation/rewards administration and analysis experience demonstrating skills to perform the role successfully.
•Experience developing base pay structures and administering various compensation programs, including focal review cycle, required.
•Experience developing variable/incentive pay, equity, and other reward programs highly desired.
•Experience evaluating and analyzing benefit programs and costing a plus
•Experience developing and maintaining job profiles, job structures/job families, and related structures and designations for compensation and rewards programs, as well as tools and procedures and infrastructure for maintenance.
•Experience in Government contracting environment and experience with Service Contract Act highly desired. 
•CCP preferred (but not required if demonstrated competencies and experience)
•Experience leading and driving relevant projects and programs
