Healthcare Services IT Project Manager II

Responsibilities:
The Healthcare Services IT Project Manager II manages project scope, implementation priorities, client communications, and quality delivery of projects. The IT Project Manager (PM) coordinates internal resources across departments to support the timely delivery of Performant payment integrity products and services and is responsible for the oversight of the implementation of new technology and strategic infrastructure enhancements.  This IT PM must demonstrate strong leadership skills and solid information technology experience in order to minimize delays and continue to appropriately advance all assigned projects.   


Responsibilities
•Develops and manages project plans to ensure accurate and timely project delivery, including but not limited to technology enhancements, system/software upgrades, migrations, and implementations
•Works in cross-functional, highly complex portfolio using a wide range of project management expertise and the ability to leverage resources in a multitude of adjacent departments to resolve complex issues in effective and strategic ways
•Oversees team members to ensure all project tasks are completed on a timely basis; resolves team and project conflicts, provides project leadership to cross-functional team members, escalates project risks to leadership as needed
•Assesses progress and reports status to management, executive leadership, and key stakeholders including project updates, timelines and milestones; provides timely written and/or verbal communication updates regarding project status
•Translates complex technical data and creates informational documentation that are easily understood by a wide range of audiences
•Independently tracks workstream initiatives, develops reporting dashboards, creates reports, and builds executive briefings.
•Manages process documentation and agile tracking systems leveraging Jira to organize activities
•Subject Matter Expert on strategic objectives involving current and new technologies
•Anticipates risk and develops mitigation plans & leads process improvement activities
•Practices effective and strategic decision-making
•Develop and maintain process flows, tools and procedures to ensure consistent management methodologies
•Interact with internal and external clients in a professional manner and respond quickly to customer requests.
•Perform other incidentals and related duties as required and assigned.

•Ability to leverage standard office systems and applications; Intermediate experience with MS Office products including MS PowerPoint, Project, Teams, Excel, Word, etc; experience with SharePoint desired.

•Excellent attention to detail and ability to synthesize information from several different sources required to troubleshoot issues or lead assigned initiatives  
•Ability to work independently with work instruction in the form of objectives and minimal oversight

Additional Requirements:
•Ability to obtain and maintain client required clearances as well as pass company regular background and/or drug screening.


•Completion of Teleworker Agreement upon hire, and adherence to the Agreement (and related policies and procedures) including, but not limited to: able to navigate computer and phone systems as a user to work remote independently using on-line resources, must have high-speed internet connectivity, appropriate workspace able to be compliant with HIPAA, safety & ergonomics, confidentiality, and dedicated work focus without distractions during work hours.




Physical Requirements:


**NOTE: Must be able to meet requirements for and perform work assignments in accordance with Company policies and expectations on a home remote basis (and must meet Performant remote-worker requirements).


Basic office equipment required to perform remote work is provided by the company.
•Job is performed in home-office setting (subject to Company approval and Teleworker Agreement), sits at a desk to perform work, uses office phone or headset provided by the Company for calls, making outbound calls and answering inbound return calls using an office phone system; views a computer monitor, types on a keyboard, and uses a mouse.
•Reads and comprehends information in electronic (computer) or paper form (written/printed). 
•Sit/stand 8 or more hours per day; has the option to stand as needed while on calls; reach as needed to use office equipment.
•Consistently viewing a computer screen and types frequently, but not constantly, using a keyboard to update accounts.
•Consistently communicates on the phone as required primarily within the department and company and may include client contacts or other third-party depending on assignment with account holders, may dial manually when need or use dialer system; headset is also provided.
•Occasionally lift/carry/push/pull up to 10lbs.

Education and Experience:
•  Bachelor's Degree in related business or industry or equivalent business/technology experience
•  PMP Certification a plus
•  Experience using Jira a plus
•  3+ years of Healthcare related experience a plus
•  5+ years working as an IT Project Manager with proven ability to execute projects and achieve results
•  Relevant healthcare industry experience with data analytics, cost management or payment integrity vendor companies a plus
•  Intermediate experience with MS Office products including MS Project, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
•  Experience with SharePoint desired

•Must submit to and pass pre-hire background check, as well as additional checks throughout employment.
•Must be able to pass a criminal background check; must not have any felony convictions or specific misdemeanors, nor on state/federal debarment or exclusion lists.
•Must submit to and pass drug screen pre-employment (and throughout employment).
•Performant is a government contractor. Certain client assignments for this position requires submission to and successful outcome of additional background and/or clearances throughout employment with the Company.
