Produce high quality code resulting from knowledge of automated testing and Microsoft technologies and frameworks
Setup/deploy changes for specific stories and perform end-to-end testing – involving the full tear-down and reconfiguring of all required components
Troubleshoot deployment-level issues involving windows services and MSMQ
Offer code-level feedback on bugs found during testing
Submit code-patches for developer review, based on end-to-end testing
Develop integration test cases based on the story content (technical stories and UI-involved stories)
Collaborate with developers and build out acceptance criteria for stories
Produce detailed documentation outlining the testing activity
Demonstrating a strong work ethic, a “can do” attitude and be highly productive
Learning new technologies and develop tools to remain abreast of current testing and development technologies
Taking on what’s needed to help the team and the company meet objectives
Technologies, skills and tools you will have 1-3 years’ experience with include:
Visual Studio
NUnit or MStest or equivalent
Selinium Web Driver
C# programming language
ASP.NET MVC ,Web API or WCF Service
SQL, Sql Server, Structure Map
Source Code Versioning tools such as SVN, GIT or comparable
Nunit, or other comparable unit testing software
Object Oriented Principles (OOP) for design
Technologies that are a nice to have, but not required:
Team City or other build server technologies
NServicesBus or other Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) technology
Lucene/ Solr or other search platform
RavenDB / Mongo DB or other no-SQL databases
JavaScript Libraries such as JQuery, AngularJS, Extjs or comparable
SpecFlow, Model Junit, or other test modeling tools
NHibernate, Linq, Entity Framework, or comparable Object Relationship Mapper
Powershell or other scripting languages
CSS
HTML/ XML
