Sales Service Representative

Responsibilities:
Under close supervision, initiates outbound phone calls to current and/or prospective clients to meet the assigned client’s business needs such as to acquire new accounts and grow customer base, increase specific market penetration, or increase installed base sales volume through up-selling or introduction of new products or services. Qualifies prospective customers and records sales prospecting and call activity in computer-based tracking systems.

Performs the following duties specific to program assignment and in accordance with client:
•Initiates calls to current and/or potential clients by following established  scripts and procedures. 
•Promotes and sells products and services of company. 
•Documents and tracks account activity using a computer system. 
•Completes assigned training on time and with acceptable scores. Demonstrates understanding of training materials and applies knowledge in applicable situations.

Physical Requirements
•Performs duties in a busy standard office environment with moderate noise level.
•Sits or stands at a desk during scheduled shift, reaching as needed to use office equipment.
•Makes and returns calls using an office phone system; 
•Views a computer monitor, types on a keyboard and uses a mouse. 
•Reads and comprehends information in electronic (computer) or paper form (written/printed). 
•Types frequently, but not constantly, using a keyboard and mouse. 
•Occasionally lifts/carries/pushes/pulls up to 10lbs
 

Education and Experience:
Some experience, generally 1-2 years, incustomer service, call center or inside sales environment. 
High School Diploma or equivalent.
