Recruitment Sourcing Specialist

As part of the HR team in the Recruitment Sourcing Specialist role you will build relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders and the HR team to meet the staffing needs of the business.  Being a good business partner, self-driven team player, enjoying the opportunity to contribute to building and improving tools and practices, maintaining a positive 'can-do' attitude and being persistent in delivering a world-class service are all attributes that are required for this role.

The key focus for you as a Recruitment Sourcing Specialist is to execute sourcing strategies and plans focused on passive candidates, with the aim of achieving high quality, cost effective and timely filling of roles. You will work closely with your management to provide input into sourcing strategy and real-time feedback on sourcing strategy effectiveness.

 You will play a crucial role in the talent acquisition efforts for positions within the US.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities
•Recruit and source for Healthcare roles in the US
•Develop plans to source qualified candidates, including passive candidates, and increase applicant pools, using appropriate sources such as databases, social media, job boards, internet sites and networking.
•Leverage your available tools and resources to increase the diversity of the applicant pool.
• Responsibility for being the first point of contact for candidates, delivering exceptional candidate care and ensuring that candidates are effectively pre-screened before inclusion into the recruitment process.
• Qualifying candidates for skill, cultural, and motivational fit, utilizing behavioural based approach and screening criteria.
•Support the development of multiple talent sourcing options for both active and passive candidates, utilize advanced sourcing techniques to identify candidates (e.g., cold calling, job boards, advertising, database and internet searches, and networking and referrals, and anticipate organization needs by ensuring ongoing strategic talent pipelines.
• Support Requisition-to-Hire process in line with Company and HR policies and procedures.
• Maintaining timely and accurate information on all candidate interactions in the database.
• Proactively pipelining talent and creating pre-qualified candidate talent pools in line with business needs.
• Assisting with development and implementation of recruitment initiatives and instrastructure.
•Compliance with all federal and state laws.
Required Skills and Knowledge:

• Demonstrated success recruiting and sourcing for professional roles as well as high volume hourly staff is a must. Specific experience in medical or niche talent is highly desired.
•Experience sourcing passive candidates utilizing various channels and technology tools.
•Excellent negotiating skills coupled with a strong ability to handle objections effectively.
•Strong organizational skills (especially as they relate to data collection and reporting), a multi-tasking style and project management approach.
•Strong knowledge and understanding of policies, procedures, and requirements relevant to talent acquisition and sourcing.
•Results-oriented mindset (high sense of urgency, determination, tenacity, etc.).
•Interest and aptitude for learning highly technical subject matter.
•Highly articulate, well-developed, effective written and verbal communication skills
•High energy, self-driven, team player with strong ethics and sound judgement

Physical Requirements
Job is in a busy standard office environment with moderate noise level, sits at a desk during scheduled shift, making outbound calls and answering inbound return calls using an office phone system; views a computer monitor, types on a keyboard and uses a mouse. Reads and comprehends information in electronic (computer) or paper form (written/printed).
•Sit/stand 8 or more hours per day; has the option to stand as needed while on calls; reach as needed to use office equipment
•Consistently viewing a computer screen and types frequently, but not constantly, using a keyboard to update accounts
•Consistently communicates on the phone with account holders, may dial manually when need or use dialer system; head-set is also provided
•Occasionally lift/carry/push/pull up to 10lbs.
Education and Experience:

•A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
•3+ years of sourcing and/or recruiting experience of similar scope within a search firm or in-house corporate environment for a variety of roles. 
•5+ years general work experience in professional business environment. HR experience a plus.

Other Requirements
Must submit to and pass background checks, including criminal check; must not have any felony convictions or specific misdemeanors, nor on state/federal debarment lists.
Must submit to and pass drug screen.
Performant is a government contractor. Certain client assignments for this position may require additional background and/or clearances.
