Human Resources Representative

Status:Regular Full Time
Responsible for supporting all Human Resource functions and supporting the client groups assigned on a daily basis.  Answers general Human resources related questions regarding policies, procedures, benefits and employee record information.

• Provide HR Support to client group
• Provide and promote positive employee interactions, effectively respond to employee inquiries, and be actively involved in resolving issues and concerns.
• Supports hiring needs and staffing including reviewing applications, scheduling interviews, assessing skills, and conducting pre-employment screenings per company employment guidelines.
• Conduct new hire Orientation classes and ensure all required training is completed for new hire and existing employees.
• Manage and update payroll processes including Workday, time off tracking, time cards, and payroll documentation.
• Manage and maintain client specific licensing and clearance requests.
• Manage and maintain client specific tokens and badges. 
• Processes and manages internal change requests.   
• Provide support to local HR manager, and process corrective actions, disciplinary functions, and terminations ensuring consistency and adherence with company policy.
• May provide research and documentation support to HR Management for employee relations.
• Ensure all training expectations are being met and continually monitor training compliance.
• Assist in local recognition activities.
• Assist in day to day and special events activities
• Support and participate in Corporate HR initiative and projects, and collaborate effectively across the HR department
• Performs role and delivers excellent results with a positive and professional attitude and leads by example
• Perform other incidentals and related duties as required and assigned; including, but not limited to general office clerical administrative duties which may include supply ordering, occasional front desk, greeting visitors.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
• Ability to work with various computer programs (Microsoft Office Excel, Word, HRIS)
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
• Ability to adapt to a changing and fast pace environment
• Ability to handle multiple tasks while working under pressure to meet deadlines
• Good attention to detail
• Good verbal and written communication skills, including good phone etiquette
• Familiar with a variety of HR concepts, practices and procedures
• Innovative and creative approach to problem solving, planning and implementation
• Highly dependable
• Ability to work under minimal supervision

Physical Requirements:
• Sit/stand/walk 8-12hr/day
• Lift/carry/push/pull under and over 10lbs occasionally
• Keying frequency, handling, reaching, fine manipulation
Education and Experience:
• Minimum of 3 consecutive years of experience in an office/administrative environment required
• Previous HR experience preferred
• Experience in a fast-paced environment with a large employee base is preferred.

• High school Diploma or equivalent
• Prefer HR Certification, or some college level courses

Other Requirements:
• Ability to successfully receive clearances for client requirements (facilitated through the company) 
• Must submit to and pass background check. Must not have any Federal or State liens resulting from County, State or Federal tax issues.  Must not have any current defaulted student loans.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check; must not have any felony convictions or specific misdemeanors.
• Must submit to and pass drug screen.
