Healthcare Revenue & Financial Modeling Analyst, Sr.

Status:Regular Full Time
The Sr. Revenue & Financial Modeling Analyst will lead the coordination of the Healthcare Services Division revenue reconciliation with finance and accounting, analyze service offering cost & revenue models, contribute to divisional financial forecasts and budgeting, and other financial analysis and modeling projects to support the division. 

•Partner with the program delivery and account management teams to prepare monthly invoicing and/or commission statement tracking.
•Prepare monthly revenue tracking and documentation for Healthcare division leaders and Corporate Finance and Accounting groups
•Establish a scalable system for cost and revenue forecasting, tracking and reconciliation
•Provide analytical support for cost analysis and tracking of actuals to budget or forecast
•Conduct analysis of revenue performance by line of business, account and service offering 
•Provide data analytic support to enterprise Finance and Accounting in optimizing revenue recognition models
•Prepare presentation materials for senior management review
•Creation and dissemination of periodic product and customer profitability reports to ensure execution of annual budget and strategic goals
•Participate in rolling forecasting process assisting in all aspects of financial analysis to drive optimal decisions
•Develop standard costs analysis for the Healthcare division’s service offerings
•Prepare and evaluate customer bids and key contracts
•Provide insightful analysis to drive the growth of value-added products and increased profitability
•Managing projects that require researching accounting transactions within a variety of company-specific and/or client data sets
•Leverages strong technically savvy to build models and tools to create efficiencies in reporting, modeling and analysis
•Extracts large data sets from diverse sources and leverages to conduct research and/or develop meaningful reporting, modeling and analysis.
•Support in various special projects and other assigned duties as required to support business needs

Required Skills and Knowledge:

• Technical accounting knowledge that includes an in-depth understanding healthcare billing, revenue recognition, as well as financial metrics, and accounting principles/general ledger. 
• Excellent analytical skills; attention to detail and accuracy
• Advanced Excel skills, Visual Basic, strong relational database skills (Access, SQL) and good working knowledge of financial and reporting systems with the ability to quickly master new systems
•A proven record in analyzing and modelling complicated data sets and the creation of analysis tools (Excel, Databases) to aid decision making. The ability to use this information to reach insightful conclusions and create robust recommendations (‘So What’) and present outputs in an informative way.
• Possess strong attention to detail and able to have a “big picture” perspective
• Good interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with a wide variety of people with different personalities and backgrounds; 
• Build successful working relationships, being a key contributor as part of a cross functional team in a matrixed environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication and data presentation skills; Able to effectively articulate and convey ideas and thoughts in a simple and effective manner. Not afraid to voice ideas or opinions
• Well-organized and able to successfully manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing business needs
•Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive data
• Able to work independently and work under pressure to meet deadlines

Physical Requirements: 
Job is in a busy standard office environment with moderate noise level (or may work remotely from home office location if job approved and remote requirements met), sits at a desk and participates in meetings, uses office phone system; views a computer monitor, types on a keyboard and uses a mouse. Reads and comprehends information in electronic (computer) or paper form (written/printed). 
- Sit/stand 8 or more hours per day; reach as needed to use office equipment. 
- Consistently viewing a computer screen, typing, using a keyboard and mouse. 
- Uses phone; head-set can be provided. 
- Occasionally lift/carry/push/pull up to 10lbs. 
- Able to sit at desk, working on computer and phones for a full work day.
- Able to work full time in assigned office, including extended hours during critical project phases.
Education and Experience:
•Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Mathematics, Computer Science or related 
• 8 years of progressive relevant professional level experience 
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in the healthcare industry
• Experience in both Commercial and Government contracting environment preferred

Other Requirements:
- Must submit to and pass background check.
- Must not have any Federal or State liens resulting from County, State or Federal tax issues.
- Must not have any current defaulted student loans.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check; must not have any felony convictions or specific misdemeanors.
- Must submit to and pass drug screen.
