Associate Application Product Manager

Responsibilities:
We’re changing the way payers (private and public) process healthcare claims by ensuring they are high quality and complete in order to reduce the estimated $750 billion in waste and fraud within the healthcare system. To help with this, we are looking for an Associate Product Manager with strong modern technology savvy, familiarity with Agile methodologies, experience with enterprise/productivity apps, and commitment to building software solutions that enable business workflow excellence, to help take Performant’s internal web-based applications to the next level. You will work closely with the product manager, development leads, business stakeholders and end users.

What you'll do as Associate Application Product Manager working in our San Francisco, CA office:
•
Translate business requirements into product requirements and user stories for client implementations
•
Translate business requirements into product requirements and user stories for new features and feature enhancements
•
Perform quality assurance controls on new features and enhancements
•
Coordinate with developers and QA to address bugs reported
•
Develop user guides and support the UAT process
•
Monitor and report on users’ feedback post-launch
•
Contribute to the product vision and roadmap
•
Develop and maintain trust and credibility by partnering effectively with all areas of the company
•
Willingly take on what’s needed to help the team and the company meet objectives

Required Skills and Knowledge:
Requirements for success in the role:
•
Experience managing the entire product life-cycle
•
Hands-on experience with enterprise web technologies
•
Knowledge of project management tools, like Jira or Trello
•
Passion for delivering high-quality user experience
•
Strong time management skills and attention to detail
•
Good communication skills along with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross functional teams
Education and Experience:
•
BA/BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
•
1+ years of previous work experience as an Associate Product Manager or similar role
Other Requirements
-Must submit to and pass background check. Must not have any Federal or State liens resulting from County, State or Federal tax issues.
-Must not have any current defaulted student loans.
-Must be able to pass a criminal background check; must not have any felony convictions or specific misdemeanors.
-Must submit to and pass drug screen.
